Four Seasons Punta Mita in 2026: Michelin Keys, Caviar and a Day of the Dead Weekend

The resort on the point had a busy 2026. It held two Michelin Keys for a third straight year, added a caviar service, and has a Día de Muertos weekend and a December programme lined up for this season.

The recognition

The resort says it retained two Keys in the 2026 Michelin Guide for Mexico, its third year running. It is also a 2026 AAA Five Diamond hotel, a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star property for a tenth consecutive year, and earned Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence for Aramara, Bahía and Dos Catrinas. Four Seasons was also among the Nayarit winners in Condé Nast Traveler's 2026 Readers' Choice Awards, alongside the St. Regis, Susurros del Corazón, Naviva, Rosewood Mandarina and One&Only Mandarina.

What is new at the table

Two caviar experiences launched on September 23 using Petrossian Royal Daurenki: the Aramara Caviar Quartet, a four-course tasting, and La Hora del Caviar, an afternoon service. Aramara itself, the pan-Asian restaurant, reopened in 2025 after a redesign by SASSON Estudio, with chef Martín Flores, a longer sake selection and a tea sommelier service.

On the calendar

Catrinas Fest, October 30 to November 1. A three-day Día de Muertos weekend with an all-female chef lineup: Lula Martín del Campo, Yesenia Ríos, Leslie Durso and Sandra Flores López of Naviva, plus ofrendas and programming for children.

The festive season. A pop-up called The Spice Coast with chef Justin Paul runs December 14 to 30, there is a Midnight Tides New Year's Eve dinner at Nuna Pool, a Christmas Eve dinner on the sand at Cuevas Beach, and Wixárika cultural workshops. Earlier this year the resort also opened a Pilates and Posture Lab with six reformers, and ran Cuevas Club de Playa as a seasonal beach club from January to April.
